1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Kit & Kreativ Design Studio website ("Site") or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

2. About Us
Kit & Kreativ Design Studio ("we," "us," "our") is a design studio based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, offering branding products, website templates, and design customization services.

3. Our Products & Services
We currently offer the following:
  • Semi-Custom Branding: Clients select from a pre-designed brand kit which is then customized to their business
  • Showit Template Customization: We customize Showit website templates from our shop or other creators on your behalf
  • Template Shop: Digital downloads including Showit website templates, social media templates, branding and business templates

4. Digital Products
All templates and digital downloads sold through our shop are delivered electronically. Upon completing your purchase you will receive access to your files via email. Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," all sales are final. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

5. Customization Services
When you engage Kit & Kreativ Design Studio for a customization service, the following applies:
  • A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins, as outlined in your project agreement
  • You are responsible for providing all necessary content (copy, photos, brand assets) within the agreed timeframe
  • Revision rounds are limited as specified in your service agreement
  • Final files or site access will be transferred upon receipt of full payment
  • Timelines are estimates and may shift based on content delivery, revisions, or unforeseen circumstances

6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including designs, graphics, text, logos, and template files created by Kit & Kreativ Design Studio — is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
Purchasing a template or design product grants you a license to use it for your own business purposes. It does not transfer ownership or grant rights to resell, redistribute, or claim the work as your own. Please refer to our Template Licensing Policy for full details.

7. Client-Provided Content
By submitting photos, text, logos, or other materials to us as part of a customization project, you confirm that you own or have the rights to use that content, and you grant us permission to use it solely for the purpose of completing your project.

8. Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time, though changes will not affect orders already placed.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kit & Kreativ Design Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Site, products, or services. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

10. No Guarantees
While we put great care into every design we create, we cannot guarantee specific business results — such as increased traffic, bookings, or revenue — from the use of our templates or services.

11. Third-Party Platforms
Our products are designed for use on third-party platforms such as Showit and Canva. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these platforms, their pricing, availability, or any changes they make to their services.

12. Links to Third-Party Sites
Our Site may contain links to external websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

1. Overview
This Template Licensing Policy outlines how you may and may not use any digital templates purchased from the Kit & Kreativ Design Studio shop ("we," "us," "our"). By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms of this license. All templates sold by Kit & Kreativ Design Studio are protected by copyright law. Purchasing a template grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the template — it does not transfer ownership.

2. What's Included
Each template purchase includes:
  • One (1) single-use license for one (1) project or website
  • Access to the template file(s) as described in the product listing
  • Any bonuses specified in the product listing (e.g. launch graphics, tutorial guides)

3. Personal Use License — What You CAN Do
If you are purchasing for your own business:
  • Use the template to build and publish one (1) website or project for your own business
  • Customize the template in any way to suit your brand — colors, fonts, images, layout, and content
  • Use your completed, customized site for as long as your Showit subscription is active
  • Remove or replace the footer credit, though we'd love it if you kept it!

4. Designer / Client Use License — What You CAN Do
If you are a designer or creative professional purchasing to use on a client project:
  • You may purchase and use one (1) template for one (1) client project
  • You may customize the template on behalf of your client
  • Each additional client project requires a separate template purchase — one license covers one project only
  • You may not reuse the same template file across multiple client projects under a single purchase

5. What You CANNOT Do
Regardless of how you intend to use the template, the following are strictly prohibited:
  • Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the template files with anyone
  • Gifting, transferring, or sublicensing the template to another person or business
  • Offering the template — in its original or modified form — as a free or paid download
  • Claiming the template design as your own original work
  • Using the template for more than one project or website under a single license purchase
  • Using the template to create a competing template product

6. Showit Platform
Our Showit templates are designed for use on the Showit platform. A valid Showit subscription is required to use, edit, and publish your site. Your Showit subscription is your own responsibility and is separate from your template purchase. Kit & Kreativ Design Studio is not affiliated with Showit and cannot be held responsible for any changes to the Showit platform or its pricing.

7. Canva Templates
Canva-based templates (such as social media or branding templates) are subject to both this license and Canva's own Content License Agreement. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with Canva's terms.

8. No Resale of Template Files
Template files may not be resold or redistributed under any circumstances. This applies even if the template has been significantly modified. The license you purchase is for use only — not for resale or redistribution of the underlying files.

9. Refunds
Because template files are delivered digitally and are accessible immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

10. License Violations
We take our intellectual property seriously. If we identify a violation of this license — including unauthorized sharing, redistribution, or resale of our templates — we reserve the right to revoke your license without refund and pursue appropriate legal remedies.

1. Our General Approach
At Kit & Kreativ Design Studio, we put a great deal of care into every product and service we offer. Because of the nature of digital products and creative services, our refund policy differs depending on what you have purchased. Please read the following carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Digital Template Products
All digital downloads — including Showit website templates, social media templates, branding and business templates — are non-refundable. Because digital files are delivered instantly upon purchase and cannot be "returned," we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase is complete and files have been accessed or downloaded.

We strongly encourage you to:
  • Preview any template demos thoroughly before purchasing
  • Read product descriptions carefully to confirm compatibility and inclusions
  • Reach out to us with any questions before completing your purchase

If you experience a technical issue with your file delivery, please contact us at [email address] and we will do our best to resolve it promptly.

3. Semi-Custom Branding Products
Because our semi-custom brand offering involves customization work completed specifically for you, all sales are final once work has commenced. If you wish to cancel before work has begun, please contact us immediately at hello@kitandkreativ.com

Cancellations requested before work commences may be eligible for a partial refund, minus any deposits, administrative or processing fees. No refunds will be issued once customization work has started.

4. Template Customization Service
For our Showit template customization service, the following applies:
  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances
  • If you wish to cancel after work has commenced, you will be charged for the portion of work completed up to the point of cancellation
  • No refund will be issued once the final files or site has been delivered
  • If you are dissatisfied with the work, please contact us — we are committed to working with you to find a reasonable resolution within the scope of your original project agreement

5. Incorrect Purchases
If you believe you have purchased the wrong template or product by mistake, please contact us at hello@kitandkreativ.com within 48 hours of purchase and before accessing or downloading your files. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis and, where reasonable, may offer a store credit or exchange at our discretion. This exception is limited and cannot be guaranteed — please reach out before purchasing if you are unsure.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us directly at hello@kitandkreativ.com before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly, and most concerns can be addressed quickly with direct communication. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your access to purchased files being revoked and may affect your ability to make future purchases with Kit & Kreativ Design Studio.

7. Defective or Incorrect Files
If you receive a file that is defective, corrupted, or does not match what was described in the product listing, please contact us within 7 days of purchase at hello@kitandkreativ.com with a description of the issue. We will review your request promptly and, where a verified error or defect is confirmed on our end, we will work to make it right — whether that means providing a corrected file or another appropriate resolution at our discretion.
